In that case, when you can you stop by and replace my air filter? Or, I'll replace the thing if I can get some one to buy the correct size!

Amanda,
I see a very slight difference in the way your husband and I do projects. When I do projects, it usually involves only one or two screws....sometimes a hammer if I'm feeling industrious. Something like French doors? I don't see that one happening at our house. It's easy to complete a project when it's simple like replacing the air filters. (Which I'm pretty good at, I might add.) If it involves cutting structural components of the house, I usually just tell the wife that I could do it, but I make up a reason as to why I won't. I hope she doesn't catch on!

I think all wives ask their husbands that question. Don't take it too personally, it's just we want to know that if you can't do it, where to look in the yellow pages or who to call if and when something goes wrong. I congratulate you on being able to do projects and to COMPLETE them. You may need to come back to town and teach my husband that part.

As for the hole in the house. I did come home one day from work with a huge hole in the back of the house. He took out the windows to put in French doors. That was one project that I didn't care how long it took him, it would get done before he left for the fire station the next morning. I was not planning on sleeping with a huge hole in the house!

We've both managed to put on a little weight since that picture. Although, one of us has more fur, the other has less.

Okay, so I do ask this question a lot. And the vast majority of the time, the projects are completed just fine.

I love the way you put such a young photo of yourself and Pip. You two were quite the handsome ones back in the day. (;
