Caffeine-Free Diet Me
Well, the “diet” part of the description is a blatant lie, but I have been without caffeine since lunch on Sunday. My keen mathematical skills indicate that time frame to be over 72 hours. Not bad for a guy who was averaging over 100mg a day. I feel this amazing sense of accomplishment. I should celebrate with a nice, cold beverage…

Hang in there! I just went through the same thing. I have officially been caffeine (from beverages) free for two weeks. Excedrin Migraine is awesome…

Surprisingly, no headaches. Apparently, the tiered process seemed to work pretty good. I’m thinking of writing a book called: “How to stop drinking two mountain dews by going to 2 cokes, then 2 rootbeers, then one coke then one rootbeer, then nothing.” There will be no text because the title will give away all of the secrets.

I haven’t been especially attentive to this venture in your life, and I didn’t think about how difficult it must have been. I’m really proud of you for quitting something that you felt was a bad habit! I hope you will feel healthier for it.

QK, as a fellow caffeine-clean person, I have to say that it doesn’t necessarily make you FEEL healthier…it just gives you the longing for that wonderfully effervescent liquid and the hiss that is released upon its opening. It does, however, save money because I’m am not forced to buy case after case of Coke Zero. So, I’ll sacrifice the addiction for money and if it makes me healthier in the process, so be it.
