Once they are all brown, I'll take my time over 3-4 months and rake them up. In the case of the pictures posted here, the pile was created at the request of Butterfly. Why do people work so hard to make their yards look entirely unnatural during the fall? Leaves fall. That's why it's called, you know, fall. Here they just let the seasons do their thing. It's less work in the fall (winter sucks no matter what), and the streets look lovely covered in red, yellow, orange, and brown. Yea, leaves!
