You call your work overkill, but I expect nothing less than excellence from the great JPL. Except of course when it comes to fantasy football and video game playing skills.

On a real note, I think is has become all too commonplace to accept mediocrity in the academic setting. We are raising up a generation of kids who have not had to work hard and apply themselves. The feel entitled to the rewards of hard work. God intended for us to work all the way back to the Garden of Eden (I know you love that name). It is not necessarily the final product, but the journey that develops our character and makes us better prepared for the world. In short, I do not know where I am going with this, but next time save your pictures at jpeg's, your bmp's took forever to load.

I feel for you in your dilema. Yesterday I got in a good workout (saw Katie Edwards, home from college on summer break). Then I went home, showered, and got in refreshing nap under briskly spinning ceiling fan!! Retirement - that's a great time to work out!
